A St. Patrick’s Day to Remember

This St. Patrick’s Day was truly one I won’t forget. It was an absolute privilege to walk in the parade, surrounded by an incredible group of volunteers and supporters who showed up, walked alongside me, and made the day so special. I’m so grateful for each and every person who gave their time and energy to support this campaign.

To everyone who came out to cheer, wave, and say hello along the parade route, thank you! We had such a great time, and it was wonderful getting to meet so many friendly people! Moments like these, connecting with people, even if only for a few seconds, are what make running for office worth it! I’m running for Attorney General because I truly care about Nebraska and Nebraskans, and days like this remind me exactly why I’m in this race.

I continued the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on the 17th by stopping into a few local spots around Omaha, meeting people around town, wishing everyone a happy holiday, and having real conversations with constituents. I had the chance to visit three different Irish themed pubs, and I was genuinely overwhelmed by how positive and welcoming people were.

One moment that really stuck with me was meeting a couple, John and Sharla. They told me they’re registered Republicans, but they took the time to talk with me, hear what I had to say, and share their perspectives. By the end of our conversation, they told me they supported me and planned to vote for me. That’s what this campaign is all about! Returning the Attorney General’s Office to the people of Nebraska by restoring it to its intended purpose – bipartisanship and independence!

We may not agree on every issue, and that’s okay, I don’t expect that we will. But if we can find common ground on even three out of five issues, that’s progress. That’s how we move forward. That’s how we build something better for Nebraska and Nebraskans. My mission, and this campaign, to be your next Nebraska Attorney General is about people, not politics. It’s about showing up, listening, and earning your trust one conversation at a time.

Thank you again to everyone who made this St. Patrick’s Day so meaningful!
