Jocelyn supports strong, responsible oversight of the health care industry, (including hospitals, insurance companies, and pharmaceuticals) to promote affordability and protect access to care for all Nebraskans.
Jocelyn believes the Nebraska Attorney General should honor the will of the people and respect Nebraska voters! Jocelyn will work swiftly and collaboratively to ensure there is clear guidance related to medical marijuana in a way that protects patients who need it and the providers who prescribe it.
Jocelyn believes nurses are professionals and strongly supports the Department of Education reexamining its definition of “professional degree” so student loan rules fairly reflect the critical work nurses and other professionals do; and so qualified students are not discouraged from entering the nursing profession, helping prevent workforce shortages in Nebraska’s health care system.
