Respect Nebraska Voters
When the people of Nebraska speak at the ballot box, the Attorney General has an obligation to follow the Constitution and uphold the will of the voters — not undermine them through endless political litigation.
Nebraskans made their voices clear on medical marijuana, and as Attorney General, she will work swiftly and collaboratively to provide clear legal guidance for law enforcement, medical providers, and the patients and families who have been made to wait far too long for certainty and clarity under the law.
⚑ In 2024, Nebraskans voted overwhelmingly to legalize medical marijuana. Rather than implement the law, Hilgers used the AG’s Office to challenge it — leaving law enforcement, providers, and patients without clear guidance. Jocelyn Brasher will respect that vote.
